Growing Up on 5th Street - "My Cousin"

Before I go further down 5th Street, I need to tell you about my cousin Leola. We both lived with our grandparents under the same circumstances. Lee was pretty and talented. She took me to school on the first day of school and waited on me after school until I was old enough to walk home by myself.
We lived in a two bedroom house. Lee had her own room. I stayed in the room with my grandparents for awhile. Later I slept on a rollaway bed in the living room. I liked that because I got to stay up later! When Lee got married and moved out I got the room.
I had my own room until my aunt and uncle came to visit and then it was back to the rollaway bed for Butch!!
Pat and I visited Lee and John a few years ago. John was the Vice President of the San Francisco 49ers!! We plan to visit her this summer in Ft. Meyers, Florida.
